Blessed days of God are a journey of life in humility, goodness and service with an everlasting destiny.
We seek our salvation through values that make positive contributions to ourselves, our family and our community.
Along the way, we gain inspiration through Christian fellowship with humble, God-Fearing people and learn spiritual things beyond this world that we could never imagine.
Blessed days of God are found in the Two Greatest Commandments.
Jesus Christ said, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. ' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
-1 Corinthians 13:13
Blessed Days of God
The Sacramental Principle is to build up the Body of Christ and to Worship God.
To think sacramentally is to understand the difference between material happiness and spiritual happiness.
Material happiness comes from fulfilling our own desires.
Spiritual happiness comes from fulfilling others' needs.
In the spiritual sense, when our "heart spiritually awakens" our lives have meaning, a purpose and an eternal destiny.
The Sacramental Principle (spiritual effect) finds meaning in:
*The Church
Sunday, the Seventh Day, is given to mankind by God to devote time to their spiritual needs.
Every Sunday, the Christian faithful go to church to hear the Voice of God through Liturgy and the Sacraments and to find Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, Who came to lead His flock to greener pastures.
*Christian Fellowship
Christian fellowship produces mutual cooperation in God's Worship, God's Work and God's Will being done by the family and church community so that we always know we're not alone.
*Serving our Fellow Human-Being
Serving God starts with serving the family.
Thoughtful parents are inspiring role models through what they say, do and live, to set their children on the path to becoming useful and responsible citizens of the future.
Jesus the Humble Servant came into this world to serve and to give.
Through serving and giving, we share the love we've been given by God through our unique talents, personalities and abilities.
When you do something that makes someone else's life better in some way, you are serving God.
*Close-knit, Traditional Family
The close-knit, traditional family of father, mother and children living in an atmosphere of togetherness and love preserve the treasures of their culture and faith through regular church attendance, emphasis on the special significance of religious events and festivals as well as traditional cultural customs.
*Close-knit Friendships
There are many forms of friendship that we make throughout life.
Close-knit friends are the genuine friendships that last forever forged with the bonds of mutual affection and a wealth of happiness and carefree days as well as trust and support that knows no bounds.
Blessed Days of God
For many people, saying "have a blessed day" is a genuine expression of goodwill and well-wishes.
In a Christian context, "have a blessed day" has a deeper significance because it is rooted in the belief that blessings have a Divine emphasis and purpose.
God blesses those who keep His Commandments, serve His people and who walk humbly through life.
Blessed Days of God
When we experience God's Favor, we encounter the miracle of a situation that is outside of our own understanding.
Favor is the Grace of God when our prayers are answered, we are overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude or are freed from the feeling of hiding our sins from Him.
Walk with God – Enoch walked with God in a spirit of dedication and devotion - his name means “Dedicated".
Be God's friend – Abraham was called the friend of God” (James 2:21-23, NKJV) because of the depth of his faith and trust.
Obedience of Joseph – God used Joseph to interpret Pharaoh's dreams culminating in him being appointed as his second in command - the reward for his faithfulness and obedience to God.
Humility of Moses - Moses meekness was apparent before his brethren, his humility before his God was even more profound.
David's desire to do God's Will - David was a shepherd who became the second King of Israel.
He loved what God loved and because of this he became one of the greatest people in the Bible and an ancestor of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd.
Seeking God's wisdom like Solomon - When God appeared to Solomon in a dream and asked him what he wanted, he responded by asking for wisdom to rule over His people well.
God's Favor for Noah protection and deliverance - Noah was a righteous man with whom God made a covenant to save him and his family from the impending flood disaster.
Blessed Days of God
Blessings enable spiritual growth.
Beatitudes are "blessed sayings" that come from the famous Sermon on the Mount delivered by Jesus Christ and recorded in Matthew 5:3-12.
From the Sermon on the Mount Jesus is describing the man or woman who belong to his Father’s Kingdom.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Blessed Days of God
A love-filled home with its spiritual element finds expression in the family's wonderful religious customs and family traditions.
Children are seen as a blessing and grandparents are the backbone of a traditional family - the sacrifices they are prepared to make for them are a tribute to their devotion.
"May we be known for our praise and worship of you within the walls of our house. Purify our hearts, our minds, and our home to reflect your holiness. Renew us, protect us, and bless this house as we strive to know and serve you better as we come and go".
Amen.
