Success

Success means the achievement of anticipated goals.
Successful people choose goals that are important to them.
They follow their passion doing the things they love.
Passion that is enduring provides the enthusiasm to pursue those things that really matter and make a positive impact.

Causes of Failure

Negative thinking directs you toward failure.
Ignorance restrict the mind and closes your eyes to opportunities.
Causes of failure:
*Wrong goals or lack of specific goals.
*Insufficient knowledge.
*Low expectations to achieve a desired goal.
*Lack of ambition or motivation.
*Unwillingness to try new ways.
*Giving in easily when the going gets tough.
Problems, uncertainty and setbacks can bring negative attitudes and feelings of being at the mercy of the unknown.
Fear can create helplessness, anxiety or panic and weigh us down with negative emotions about the future.
“The saddest summary of life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have.”

Faith in Yourself

Attitudes and choices shape the quality of life.
Re-focus the mind to your dreams and goals in life.
Faith in yourself strengthens the motivation and provides the positive attitude necessary to make all things possible.
It reflects positive thinking associated with positive expectations.

"To Thine Own Self be True!"

Life that is aligned with a person's values, finds the path to self-fulfillment.
A vivid imagination opens your eyes to opportunities.
A vivid vision can make goals come true, regardless of where you are now.
Passion maximizes your potential.
The old English proverb says, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
Confidence comes from achieving goals.
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams".
-Eleanor Roosevelt

Health and Vitality

To have the enthusiasm to achieve any goal you must have abundant energy that enables you to get through each day.
Energy is what powers an individual's efficiency, motivation and endurance.
On the other hand, when you feel exhausted, tasks may become overwhelming.
A person who oozes vitality exudes that inner feeling of confidence that makes you feel good.
The foundation of good living is being physically, mentally, socially, intellectually and spiritually active.
A well-balanced diet, exercise and a positive attitude invigorates the body, strengthens the immune system and reduces health risk factors.
Any kind of physical exercise that stimulates better circulation and deeper breathing is good to improve or maintain overall health.
It may include walking, skipping, jogging, running, cycling, swimming and aerobics to weightlifting, yoga, team sport and any other forms of enriching practices that an individual may wish to participate.
Positive thoughts keep you constantly inspired.
A positive mind enables the best decisions and course of action to be chosen.
Positive action opens the door to opportunities.
“The quality of life is determined by its activities.”
-Aristotle (Ancient Greek Philosopher, Scientist and Physician)

Excess Baggage

"I would if I could, but I can't, so I won't".
Excess baggage can hinder progress toward a goal.
*Inertia limits effort for moving ahead.
*Negative thinking brings uncertainty.
The irrelevant "weigh us down" causing anxiety and stress.
Clearing the clutter gives you the freedom to focus!
*Say “no” to things that you don’t have time for.
*Adapt to changing demands
"Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity."
-Albert Einstein

Opportunity

The optimist will always see opportunity.
A positive attitude creates the will to achieve.
When you are doing what you love, opportunity opens new doors.
The important thing about opportunity is the individual who:
*Takes it when it comes along.
*Sets out to look for it.
Persist until you succeed.
*Think about the possibilities
*Think about the rewards

Purpose

Purpose adds value to life.
It gives a direction through goals and making plans to reach them.
Step-by-step, targeted goals provide that enduring commitment to persevere.
They can keep you going even through adversity.
Achieving them will give you the freedom of choice to do what you want, when you want!
"The starting point of all achievement is desire."
-Napoleon Hill

Knowledge

Learning is one of the most profitable forms of investment because it maximizes your potential for growth and creativity.
The right knowledge, gives you the confidence to make decisions based on what is right for you.
It helps you avoid mistakes and to gain new ideas.
Goals determine what knowledge you need.
Time, money and effort spent on gaining knowledge is an investment you make for your future to maximize your potential in all areas of life.
Anyone who keeps learning stays young.”
―Henry Ford.

*Creativity
*Action
*Persistence

Optimism is Positive Thinking

-Samuel Dash

Goal-Setting

Goal setting is the path to self-fulfillment.
Goals establish priorities and keep you focused on a purpose.
A goal can be achieved by starting a daily, weekly and monthly routine to reach them.
Complicated goals can be broken down into smaller, step-by-step sub-goals.
Each sub-goal that is achieved generates enthusiasm to persist to the desired end.
Classifying Goals
Goals must be classified into priority levels:
*Long term
*Intermediate
*Short-term
Short-term goals lead to the accomplishment of intermediate and long-range goals.
They provide the motivation to reach your intermediate and long-term goals.
Intermediate goals may include whatever must be completed so that a long-range goal can be reached.
Long-range goals are those that can be reached after about five or more years.

Planning

Planning gives an idea of the resources needed.
It starts with:
*Gathering relevant information.
*Identifying obstacles and problems.
*Examining alternative courses of action.
*Identifying priorities and targets.
*Scheduling activities.
*Giving the necessary time required for the achievement of goals.

The Road Less Traveled

The Routine Road leads to nowhere in particular.
You will still be waiting next year, the year after and five years from now.
"You reap what you sow!"
Unrealized dreams, untapped potential, wasted opportunities and unsolved problems.
Goals offer new challenges.
Choices define the consequences.
The road less traveled can lead to new experiences and improved circumstances.
Two roads diverged in a wood and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.
Robert Frost

Mission Statement

A mission statement connected to your vision offers a sense of what you want to achieve.
A simple, written statement provides the driving force to:
*Reach a goal.
*Measure every activity against it.
*Focus on those things that are important within a specific time-frame.
Read your mission statement daily to let it motivate you toward reaching your goal.

Action Plan

Ambition makes many things become possible.
It takes a go-getter with a positive mindset to pursue their dreams.
Everything starts by:
1: Deciding
2: Taking Action
These two steps and how it will manifest, is about what you do today.
Present Actions Determine Future Results
Believe you can and you’re halfway there.
-Theodore Roosevelt
