Fortune Luck and New Beginnings
Fortune, luck and new beginnings come as a reward for obedience to the Will of God.
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. “This is the first and great commandment. “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” (Matt. 22:37–39.)
The Will of God is the advancement of his Kingdom (Dan 2:44), His Glorification (1 Cor 10:31), and the salvation and sanctification of His children through His Son, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:9).
Fortune, luck and new beginnings come to those who trust God unconditionally.
God's Power Can:
*Influence people through love and compassion.
*Guide the conscience to what is right and what is wrong.
*Govern what is important in life through values.
*Provide the positive choices to live a wholesome existence.
"One thing I seek - to live in the Presence of the Lord - all the days of my life and, to behold God's Beauty".
-King David
Fortune Luck and New Beginnings
Fortune smiles upon those who invest in their their financial freedom.
It means freedom from financial anxiety that satisfies the needs of income, purchasing power, accumulating assets and comfort in retirement.
Financial freedom provides the freedom of choice to do the things that really matter.
Money can:
*Determine where you live.
*Affect the way you feel about yourself.
*Determine your future life.
*Determine the status you carry in the community.
The value of money means:
*Freedom from the daily struggle to make ends meet.
*Being free from debt.
Every financial worry you want to banish and financial dream you want to achieve comes from taking tiny steps today that put you on a path toward your goals.

Think About Your Lifestyle Goals!
You want the freedom of choice to live the lifestyle you desire.
You want to break free from the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle.
And of course, the most important, long-term financial goal, is saving enough money for retirement.
God's Glorious Riches
In the spiritual sense, true riches are the things that money cannot buy like peace of mind, a clear conscience, health and well-being, true friends and true love.
Jesus Christ says that "true riches are not a matter of what we control. True riches are a matter of what controls us."
In his famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus contrasted what He called treasures on earth and Treasures in Heaven.
Treasures on earth fade and are corruptible - the folly of fools.
When the soul is surrendered to sin, it suffers eternal loss.
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul."
(Mark 8:35-36)
Isaiah 5:20 says, ”Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.”
The soul has eternal value - it lasts forever.
Treasures in Heaven are everlasting and never suffer corrosion - the wealth of the wise.
Andrew Carnegie
Steel magnate, Andrew Carnegie's "The Gospel of Wealth" argued that extremely wealthy Americans like himself had a responsibility to spend their money in order to benefit the greater good through philanthropy and charity in order to close the widening gap between rich and poor.
In an 1889 essay, he told his fellow business leaders, “The man who dies thus rich dies disgraced.”
True to his beliefs, by his death in 1919 he had divested himself of more than 95 percent of his fortune.
Andrew Carnegie's famous Quote!
"No man becomes rich unless he enriches others."
Rich in goodness in the present world lays the foundation of an eternal future.
"Luck" is all around in the form of opportunities.
Inner urges inspire us to create our own luck.
Determination to pursue goals, how you think and how you act when opportunity comes, determine how lucky you will be.
Goals are important because if you do not know where you are heading, you will never get there.
Lucky people are "open minded" to new possibilities, ideas and experiences.
They think and behave in positive ways.
Other important factors include how you deal with setbacks, obstacles and problems.
Generally, some measure of luck is based on chance and being in the right place at the right time.
The more you seek to fulfill your dreams, the luckier you get.
Horseshoes, ladybugs, rabbit's feet or four-leaf clovers are symbols of good luck.
Four Leaf Clover
Four-leafed clovers are one of the most cherished good luck symbols that originated in Ireland.
The four sides of the clover represent love, luck, hope, and faith.
Fortune Luck and New Beginnings
Life should reflect who we truly are to find our fulfillment in life.
Values are the foundation of our true selves.
Doing what you love makes you more dedicated, more productive and enthusiastic.
The future is in your imagination!
*Visualize your ideal self.
*Visualize your ideal lifestyle.
Goals open the door to infinite opportunities.
Desire provides the resourcefulness to approach a problem or a goal with a positive mindset.
The optimist will always see opportunity with a positive mindset to achieve.
When you are doing what you love, opportunity opens new doors.
"The quality of life is determined by its activities."
-Aristotle (Ancient Greek Philosopher)
Ladder of Success
New beginnings create a success ladder for your future self.
A goal sets you on the first rung on the ladder.
Each rung climbed, becomes a milestone to your ultimate goal.
*Think about the possibilities.
*Think about the rewards.
Light of the World
A lamp gives light to everything around it.
In the spiritual sense, light is the source of new beginnings.
Jesus Christ said, “I am the light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
(John 8:12)
New beginnings are a time to put the past behind and move forward with a clear conscience with the light of hope to better days ahead.
"Right" and "good" are the two basic terms of moral evaluation.
Jesus said, “Let your light shine before others” (Matthew 5:16a).
He calls everyone to be a light that shines to people through good words and good deeds - that reflects the nature of Jesus Christ's love, compassion and forgiveness.
Fortune Luck and New Beginnings
A blessing is a Gift bestowed from the Hand of a Generous God.
It is a sign of God's Grace.
God's ultimate act of Grace is the salvation He provides through faith in Jesus (Ephesians 2:8).
We see God's Goodness displayed in the sun rising each morning, the rain falling from the sky and in the flowers blooming in our gardens.
We also see it in people who do good (Ephesians 2:10) their good works reflect God's Goodness to humanity.
Blessings crown the head of the righteous.
Blessings from God empower us to fulfill His Plan for our lives.
